To a believer trying to get prayer into schools

Believer: "There should be prayer in schools."

Athiest: "Don't pray in my schools, and I won't think in your church."

You can point out that there is prayer in schools. because it's impossible to prohibit it. When the asshole protests, remind him that prayer is considered no less effective when composed in the privacy of ones own skull. What the wannabe theocrats are talking about is government-prescribed prayer, and I will fight that with anything necessary, from ballots to bullets.

I like this, and it's a good point.

"What the wannabe theocrats are talking about is government-prescribed prayer..."

Yes, that's exactly what they want.
